Official Selection at Manchester Lift-Off Film Festival, Short to the Point International Film Festival, and Kosice International Monthly Film Festival.
During the Spanish Civil War, thousands of soldiers lost their lives. All did so in the name of the homeland — yet it was one they didn’t get to choose. Upon the discovery her grandfather’s lost watercolours, the filmmaker embarks on an essayistic exploration of his life as a colonel in Franco’s Army, the meaning of national identity, patriotism, and belonging.
